Welcome to our Gastroenterology Consultants, Southwest, L.L.P. (GEC SW) website. Our practice has been in the southwest area of Houston since the early 1970's and in Sugar Land since the early 1990's. The founder of this practice is Dr. Frank Lanza, who was President of The American College of Gastroenterology, 2002-2003
Dr's Robert E. Davis, Dr. Guillermo Trabanino, and Dr. Keith Fiman have all served as President of the Texas Gulf Coast Gastroenterology Society
Dr. Lanza and Dr. Davis have served as President of the Texas Society of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy.
All four of us are Board Certified with the American Board of Gastoenterology and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
We treat common gastrointestinal (GI) problems, liver disease, and screen for colon cancer (CRC). We perform several diagnostic and therapeutic procedures that include colonoscopy, polyp removal, anoscopy, upper GI endoscopy (EGD), hemorrhoidal banding, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
These procedures are performed in an outpatient setting. We schedule them at one of four facilities:
